Long Island Man Injured After Being Pinned Under Vehicle In Suffolk County

A Long Island man was injured after he became trapped under a vehicle at a salvage yard.

The incident took place around 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22, in Suffolk County when Southampton Town Police Department responded to the salvage yard in Flanders.

Prior to police arrival employees removed Michael Mujsce, age 74, from underneath the front end of a dismantled vehicle, police said.

Mujsce suffered minor injuries and was transported to Stony Brook Hospital via Flanders Ambulance for medical treatment.
